"Indeed, there have been no meetings in Brussels for some time.

EU Council President Charles Michel's approach is that the return of the two leaders to Brussels will undoubtedly be important.

Because it is not only about Brussels, there has been no meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan for several months.

Toivo Klaar, the special representative of the European Union (EU) on the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, said this in an interview with APA.

"We believe it's really important for them to meet regularly and work on the substance of important issues.

Which we see in Brussels.

So, in that sense, President Michel would very much like the leaders to come back to Brussels.

He met with leaders in Munich a few weeks ago.

I am in Baku and last week I was in Yerevan regarding these meetings.

Now our clear expectation is that the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan will be in Brussels again in the very near future," Toivo Klaar said.

The EU special representative does not expect the tripartite meeting to take place before Nowruz: "But in the end, of course, we can bring the parties together.

We can also provide them with a platform.

At the same time, President Michel can invite leaders and give them time.

But, of course, in the end, the main issue is the meeting of the leaders - President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan, reaching agreements and the desire to ensure peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in general, in the South Caucasus."
