The statement of Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tetyana Moskalkova about the reluctance of the Ukrainian side to return 70 soldiers from captivity during the exchange on March 7 is accompanied by an unreliable list and aims to destabilize Ukrainian society.

This was reported in the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

"The Russian "ombudsman" is not a subject of negotiations during exchanges.

Tetyana Moskalkova once again voiced theses, which the Russians need to destabilize Ukrainian society," the message reads.

The Coordination Headquarters emphasized that in her statement, the Russian official did not mention a single word about the high-profile extrajudicial execution of an unarmed Ukrainian soldier, instead, she is trying to find an explanation for Russian society about the lack of progress in the return of its own prisoners of war.

In the list of Ukrainian prisoners of war published by Tetiana Moskalkova, according to the Ukrainian side of the exchange negotiations, there is something positive, as it is evidence that these soldiers are in Russian captivity.

At the same time, this list contains the names of servicemen who have actually already been released from captivity.

"This shows the incompetence of the so-called "ombudsman" and the lack of ownership of the situation.

Such provocations from the Russian side are not happening for the first time.

"Ukraine is ready to take from captivity and takes away all our defenders who are offered by the opposite side on exchanges," the message reads.

The Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War recalled that on February 25 of this year, Tetyana Moskalkova was added to the European Union's sanctions list for denying the filtering measures carried out by Russia in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

Moskalkov was also expelled from the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI).

We will remind, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets showed an "educative conversation" with the Russian occupiers before the exchange for defenders of Ukraine, which took place on Tuesday, March 7.
