European stock markets started today's trading without clear changes in the indices, reported CBBC. Today and tomorrow, the president of the Federal Reserve Board, Jerome Powell, is expected to be heard in the US Congress, and investors are waiting for a sign if and what kind of monetary policy change can be expected from the US Federal Reserve Board, BTA reported.
London's FTSE 100 added 6.92 points, or 0.09 percent, to 7,936.71 in open trade.
Germany's DAX rose 31.55 points, or 0.2 percent, to 15,685.13.
The Paris CAC 40 added 3.39 points, or 0.05 percent, to 7,376.6 points.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 was flat in early trade, with most sectors in negative territory.
