What is known about the deceased

The name of the deceased soldier has not yet been finally determined, only the preliminary version has been announced.

Initially, rumors circulated on the Internet that the deceased was a serviceman of the 72nd OMBr named after

Black Zaporozhets, call sign "Magnit".

Later, this information was not confirmed.

There was also information that the executed fighter's name is

, he disappeared without a trace in the Donetsk region.

Subsequently, the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozky reported that, according to preliminary data, the deceased was a soldier of the brigade Timofii Shadura.

The press service of the brigade added that the soldier is considered missing since February 3, 2023, after hostilities in the area of ​​the city of Bakhmut.

The woman, who identified herself as the soldier's sister, said: "My brother could definitely stand up to the Russians like that. He never hid the truth in his life, and he certainly wouldn't hide it from the enemy."

According to the BBC, the soldier served in the 30th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A veteran of the war with Russia, lawyer Masi Nayem offered a monetary reward for the name of a Ukrainian soldier who was shot by the Russians.
