"Four (tanks) are already in Ukraine, another ten will arrive in Ukraine this week," Mariusz Blaszczak said at a press conference.

Poland has promised to send a total of 14 Leopard 2 tanks, according to Reuters.

Today, Blaszczak left for Stockholm for a meeting of EU defense ministers, where security in Europe and support for Ukraine will be discussed, BTA notes.

"A conversation with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is also planned. The main topic we will talk about is the limited availability of spare parts for Leopard tanks," Blaszczak said. The problem could be solved mainly by the German military industry and Poland as well is ready to produce those parts, he added.

"We are ready to create a service center in Poland that will deal with the repair and maintenance of the Leopard tanks delivered to Ukraine," Blaszczak said.
