After a 7-month complete repair, traffic was opened in the metropolitan tunnel "Lyulin".
It was built 30 years ago and this is its first complete rehabilitation.
The roadways and tram tracks, the walls of the facility and the lighting have been completely renewed.
The repair costs nearly 13 million BGN excluding VAT.
The closure of the tunnel in the last few months has led to traffic problems and the formation of huge traffic jams in this part of Sofia.
