A comprehensive meeting was held between the delegation of the TURKISH PA and the Community leadership in the West Azerbaijan Community.

APA reports that representatives from the parliaments of Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan were among the guests from TURKISH PA.

Aziz Alakbarli, chairman of the West Azerbaijan Community, who opened the meeting with an introductory speech, noted that the earthquake in Turkey shook the Turkish world.

The chairman of the community further informed the guests about the need to create the West Azerbaijan Community, as well as the directions of activities: "Armenians have been pursuing a policy of oppression not only against Turks, but also against other nationalities in this region for the last 200 years. All this is documented and documented, and we believe that the world should definitely be aware of this. And the world should get to know the real face of Armenians. We carry the citizenship document of the Republic of Armenia in our pockets. Armenia is obliged to ensure our return to our historical lands."

Aziz Alakbarli drew attention to the history of Armenian settlement in the South Caucasus: "There is a document of the first land and house bought by Armenians in the South Caucasus. But if Armenians are an ancient people, settled in the region since ancient times, what are these documents?"

Turkish MP Recep Şeker from the TURK PA side highly appreciated the activity of the community: "Turkey always supports the rightful desire and claim of West Azerbaijanis to return to their homeland."

The meeting continued with general discussions.
