The Russian reconnaissance aircraft A-50, which

was blown up by partisans at the airfield "Machulyshchi" in

Belarus , is currently in a malfunctioning condition.

It is unlikely that they will be able to repair it, since Russia is under sanctions for aggression against Ukraine.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security Council, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the telethon.

Danilov emphasized that the plane is in a faulty condition and that the Russians claim that they will "repair quickly" is unlikely to be true due to sanctions against Russia.

"But taking into account the fact that Russia is under sanctions, we do not think that they will succeed. This caused such an inadequate reaction in Lukashenka. His behavior is beginning to surprise. We will see how the events unfold. We are ready for any development of the situation ", - added the secretary of the NSDC.

Danilov recalled that Belarusian partisans took responsibility for the damage to the plane used by the occupiers to attack Ukraine.

"There was a 'thing' in Machulyshchy with a Russian plane that was pointing missiles at our cities. Thanks to this plane, they attacked the civilian population. According to our information, the Belarusian partisans damaged this plane quite badly," he added.

It will be recalled that the Russian reconnaissance aircraft A-50 was damaged on February 26 at the Belarusian

 airfield "Machulyshchi".

 "Belarusian partisans" claimed

responsibility for the attack .

Apparently, Lukashenka's security forces found a bag with remote controls for drones near the scene of the incident.

According to the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, this is good news for Ukraine.

This aircraft coordinated missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

And military analyst Oleksiy Hetman explained that damage to the A-50 aircraft

will make it difficult for the occupiers

to plan missile strikes on Ukraine.

On March 7, the dictator of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that

the attack on "Machulyshchi" with the damage of the A-50 was allegedly planned by the SBU and the CIA, having recruited a Russian IT officer in 2014.

According to the dictator of Belarus, the "terrorist of the Ukrainian special services" was born in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region and lived in Crimea for some time, and also, according to Lukashenka, he has relatives in Austria.

In addition, Lukashenko hysterically called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi a "nit" and

challenged him.

The adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, responding to Lukashenka, advised him to

"decide on definitions" and

reminded that Belarusian partisans took responsibility for the incident.
