At about 10:30 am today (6th), the front of a container truck suddenly caught fire in the tunnel 1.5 kilometers south of National Highway No. 3. Firefighters extinguished the fire with wiring and spraying water.

[Reporter Wu Shengru/Keelung Report] The Keelung City Fire Department received a report at 10:34 am today (6th) that a container truck caught fire at the front of a container truck 1.5 kilometers south of National Highway 3. They immediately sent personnel to put out the fire quickly. Fortunately, The driver of the container truck discovered the abnormality in time and fled first, and was not affected. The cause of the fire awaits further investigation and clarification.

After receiving the report, the Keelung City Fire Department dispatched An Le and other fire brigades to rescue them. They found thick smoke coming out of the front of the vehicle.

At present, personnel from the fire investigation department have been dispatched to clarify the cause of the fire in the front of the car.
