The fishing boat Xinchangfa 88 capsized in the waters of Huangwei Island, 150 kilometers north of Ishigaki Island.

[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] The Chinese fishing boat "Xin Changfa No. 88" capsized in the waters near Huangwei Island. The whereabouts of 7 people on board are unknown. The sea area is located in the north of Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. Both sent ships to search and rescue urgently.

According to the Japanese media "Ryukyu Broadcasting" (RBC), the Ishigaki Coast Guard Headquarters found one body in the ship earlier, and the whereabouts of the other six people are still unknown.

According to the Japanese media "Ryukyu Broadcasting" (RBC), there are 7 people on the Taiwanese fishing boat "Xin Changfa 88", including 1 Taiwanese captain and 6 Indonesian fishermen.

The Ishigaki Maritime Security Headquarters received a report from the Self-Defense Forces at about 1:30 pm on the 5th that the ship had capsized. The capsized fishing boat was found in the waters 150 miles north of Ishigaki Island.

After sending a ship to the scene to search, at about 9:15 am on the 6th, one body was found in the ship, and the whereabouts of the remaining 6 people were still unknown. The Ishigaki Coast Guard Headquarters dispatched 2 patrol ships and 1 helicopter. The surrounding waters continued to search for the remaining 6 missing crew members.
