The Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsia, urged not to allow Russia's one-month presidency of the UN Security Council from April.

He wrote about it on Twitter.

"Antonio Guterres called the invasion of the Russian Federation "the saddest day of his tenure". It will be the saddest day in the history of the UN until April 1, 2023, if justice does not prevail and the Russian Federation begins to preside over the Security Council. It is enough to violate justice and oppress the UN Charter." - emphasized Kislytsia.

At the same time, according to him, the decision to remove Russia from the UN Security Council and at least prevent it from presiding over the Council does not belong to the competence of the UN Secretary General.

"This is a question for the members of the Council... the Russian Federation must feel the consequences of aggression and crimes right now," Kyslytsia wrote.

On the night of invasion @antonioguterres called it “the saddest day in his tenure”;

in fact the saddest in UN history until April 1, 2023 when, unless justice prevails, Russia assumes the presidency of the Security Council.

Stop raping justice & quashing the UN Charter!

Accountability now!

Note that in March, Mozambique chairs the UN Security Council.

From April, according to the UN schedule, Russia will take over the presidency of the Republic of Belarus for a month.

The head of the Russian Federation's representation at the UN is Vasyl Nebyenzya.

We will remind, Serhiy Kyslytsia reacted emotionally to the scandalous statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor Russia, Serhii Lavrov, during the G20 summit in India.

In particular, Kislytsia emphasized that the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry combines three roles: a clown, a jester and a jerk.

In addition, according to the UN representative, Lavrov is pathetic.
