Annual inflation in Turkey continues to decrease for four months.

"APA-Economics" reports with reference to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) that inflation in February was 55.18%.

Consumer price index increased by 3.15% and production prices by 76.61%.

It was noted that the increase in production prices fell to the lowest level in the last 15 months.

The Central Bank of Turkey also lowered the discount rate to 8.5 percent on February 23, taking into account the decrease in inflation.

It should be noted that inflation in Turkey reached the highest level of the last 24 years - 85.5 percent in October last year.
