If we look at today's situation, the farmer of Maharashtra is getting two rupees (per kg). That's why I have to burn onions. " He said, " I planted onions here in one and a half acres. One lakh 25 thousand rupees were spent on it. I was going to spend another 30 thousand rupees to sell it.

On the question that how much rupees would you get from this onion on sale, this farmer said, "You would have got only 25 thousand or 26 thousand rupees. Five thousand more rupees would have gone from my pocket. My 1.25 lakh rupees have already gone, I would have to bear another loss of about five thousand rupees. In such a situation, I have to burn this onion crop.

On the question of what he would like to say to the government regarding the difficulties faced by the farmers, Krishna Bhagwan Dongre said, "For the last 15 days, people in Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra knew that the farmers were going to burn the onion crop if they did not get the proper price. But the government's No one called, no one showed sympathy. Someone somewhere said don't do this, wait, we will do something and will stand behind the farmer, that's why the task of burning onions had to be completed."

He said, "I want to request the Central Government that my onion has been burnt but the farmer of Maharashtra has become completely discouraged. He is forced to commit suicide. Should be allowed to export." He said, "I don't want to say anything to the Maharashtra government. The CM of Maharashtra knew about this situation. I had given him a letter written in my blood. I want to tell the CM I want to take out all the blood from my body but pay attention to the problems of the farmers.
