A team of teachers at the capital's 148 school "Prof. Dr. Ljubomir Miletich" successfully integrates children with special educational needs into school life.

This is clear from a letter from parents to the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), the ministry's press center announced.

Mihail and Rositsa Sarchelievi express their gratitude to the people who provide their son with "an appropriate atmosphere for work, try out different methods, strategies, techniques, look for new ways to intrigue him and successfully overcome moments of unacceptable behavior".

12-year-old Mitko has been at the school since 2018, when he was in first grade.

"From the very beginning, he enjoyed the exceptional attention and effort of the entire team to provide the best conditions so that he could feel calm and train according to his abilities," the parents wrote.

And they add that a speech therapist, a psychologist and a resource teacher work with their son.

On the one hand, due to his specific needs, he has to study according to an individual program, but on the other hand, he has a class with which he spends breaks, holidays and participates in extracurricular activities.

"As a result of the dedicated work together, our son has a supportive environment, he feels happy and is increasingly able to develop his potential. If you see his eyes in the morning when he leaves for school, you will know that all the efforts are meaningful and worth it." , write Mihail and Rositsa Sarchelievi.
