He was born in Havana, on March 17, 1989.

He debuted in the National Baseball Series in 2007 with the Havana Cowboys where he played 3 series.

In 2011 he joined the Huracanes de Mayabeque team and in 2013 he played a series with Industriales.

He emigrated to Spain, where he signed with CB Barcelona.

There he was the leader in earned run average, opponent average and strikeouts in his division.

At the end of 2016, he signed with the Atlanta Braves, who loaned him to the Tijuana Bulls in 2017, although he ultimately did not pitch for that team.

In 2017 he played with the Navegantes de Magallanes of the Professional Baseball League of Venezuela.

In that year he also played with the Sharks of Puerto Peñasco in the Northern League of Mexico-LNM, where he took the lead in Games Won that season.

In 2019 he played for the Spanish national team in the European Baseball Championship and the Olympic Qualification for the Tokyo Games.

Regarding his presence in the Cuba team for the World Classic, he has pointed out: "I am fulfilling a dream by putting the four letters of the name of Cuba on my suit. Anyone who pitches on the mound, any batter who hits, the important thing is to win and advance as team. In the end we will all be responsible for the result. As for how far we will be able to go, I prefer not to give a forecast, I want to think about the day to day, game by game. Baseball will give us what we are capable of deserving, of It's our part to do things well on and off the pitch."

He was born in Santa Cruz del Norte, Mayabeque, on August 23, 1996.

Height: 187 cm Weight: 104 kg

He began his career with the Mayabeque team in the LIV National Baseball Series in 2014.

He emigrated in 2014 and was signed by the San Diego Padres on August 4, 2016.

He began his professional career in 2017 with the Fort Wayne TinCaps of the Midwest League, going 5-2, 4.41 in 16 games, mostly as a starter.

In 2018, he went 6-9, 5.11 for the Lake Elsinore Storm of the California League.

He followed that up with a very strong season in 2019, which saw him make his major league debut with the Padres at the end of the year.

He started with Lake Elsinore where he went 5-2, 2.85 in 10 starts.

Promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles of the Texas AA League, he had more success, going 8-5, 4.23 to finish a combined 13-7, 3.66 in 25 games (23 starts) with 142 strikeouts in 130 1/3 tickets.
