A man was arrested in Odesa, who was transporting women to a brothel in the Czech Republic.

This was reported in the press service of the Odesa Border Detachment of the Southern Regional Department of the DPSU.

Law enforcement officers exposed a scheme to send Ukrainian women into sexual slavery in the Czech Republic.

"The scheme was stopped in the course of monitoring the commission of a crime during an attempt to send four Ukrainian women abroad. The victims of trafficking were first tried to be taken by bus to Moldova, and then delivered to the Czech Republic," the press service reported.

According to the border guards, mostly young women from low-income families fell on the "hook" of the pimp.

The attacker allegedly invited them to a high-paying job abroad, but actually recruited them to brothels.

For the quality performance of his work, he promised the girls an income of 200 euros per day.

As reported in the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa region, the man was detained when he tried to take away four women from Odesa aged 23 to 34.

He posted ads with such offers in private Telegram channels.

The figure was informed of the suspicion of committing a crime, provided for in Part 2 of Art.

149 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (human trafficking).

Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure is being resolved.

It will be recalled that a 21-year-old Ukrainian woman sold women into sexual slavery in the Kyiv region.
