On Thursday, February 2, invaders attacked ten communities in Sumy Oblast.

177 "arrivals" were recorded in the region.

The enemy attacked the area with mortars, barrel artillery, self-propelled guns, and MLRS.

There is destruction, informs the press service of Sumy OVA. 

The Russians shelled the communities of Novoslobidska, Khotynska, Bilopolska, Velikopysarivska, Seredino-Budska, Esmanska, Znob-Novgorodska, Myropilska, Krasnopilska, and Shalyginska.

The destruction of infrastructure, including civilian infrastructure, was recorded in five communities:

  • Seredyno-Budsk community: mortar fire.

    2 private houses were damaged in the village of Rozhkovichi;

  • Esmansk community: they were shelled, first, from barrel artillery and MLRS.

    Power lines and private houses in the village of Studenok were damaged.

    Also, a residential building caught fire in the village of Ulanov; 

  • Khotyn community: the enemy fired from self-propelled artillery.

    The office premises of the agricultural company and the premises for storing firewood in the village of Kindrativka were damaged;

  • Znob-Novgorod community: a high-voltage line was damaged as a result of barrel artillery fire near the village of Novovasylivka;

  • Novoslobodsk community: 3 private houses were damaged in the village of Boyaro-Lezhachi due to earlier shelling from barrel artillery.

Earlier, we reported that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, listened to reports about the situation at the front and promised the enemy a response to the shelling of Zaporizhzhia.

The head of state also reported on working with partners to increase the long-range of the Armed Forces.
