After 5 electric shocks, he was sent to the hospital. Before arriving at the hospital, he had a pulse. He has regained consciousness and is recovering well.

The County Fire Department pointed out that the patient’s cousin, Mr. Yu, said that the cousin’s husband usually has the habit of exercising and also participates in road running events. He had no heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure in the past.

The cousin ran about 10 kilometers each time, and neither of them had a mobile phone on that day. Fortunately, the place where the patient collapsed was in front of a convenience store, and the cousin immediately asked passers-by for help.

The ambulance from the Xinpu Fire Brigade arrived at the scene 4 minutes later. The ambulance personnel Yang Zijun and Xie Jinglong immediately took over CPR and provided AED, supraglottic airway, automatic cardiopulmonary resuscitation machine, automatic oxygen dispenser, etc., and established intraosseous needle infusion at the same time.

The AED monitor showed a fatal ventricular fibrillation rhythm. After five consecutive electric shocks, he was sent to Dongyuan General Hospital for treatment. The man recovered his pulse 2 minutes before the hospital.

Mr. Yu said that he had learned CPR when he was in school and when he was a soldier, but he did not expect to use it on his family for the first time.

Dr. Jian Zhenyu, director of the Emergency Medical Education Center of Dongyuan Hospital, pointed out that the patient’s pulse had recovered before arriving at the hospital, and his consciousness was restless. The electrocardiogram was determined to be acute myocardial infarction. The stent is clearly conscious in the intensive care unit.

Jian Zhenyu said that after the patient fell down in this case, the public immediately helped to call 119 for help, and the cousin did CPR. The ambulance personnel used AED to defibrillate and give oxygen, infusion and other treatment. To form a perfect "chain of life", each link is indispensable, otherwise even if rescued, it may become a vegetable due to brain hypoxia.

Many people fear that they will be accused if they act bravely, so that they dare not perform CPR for patients.
