Holika Remedy: Put these things in the fire during Holika Dahan. 

Holika Dahan 2023:

Holi festival is celebrated every year in the month of Phalgun.

Holi has special recognition in Hinduism.

It is said that on this day, forgetting all enmity, even enemies become friends.

The first day of this two-day festival is Holika Dahan and Holi is played with colors on the second day.

This year, Holika Dahan will be done on March 7 and according to the Panchang, Holi will be played on the next day i.e. March 8.

According to the story related to Holika Dahan, on this day Hiranyakashyap's sister Holika died of flames while trying to kill Prahlad.

Since then Holika Dahan started being celebrated.

That's why Holika is also lit. 

According to belief, offering some things in this Holikagni is considered very auspicious.

It is said that those who wish for happiness and prosperity in the house, they can put these things in the fire while burning Holika.

Offer these things to Holika 

Garland made of cow dung can be offered to Holika.

Indra and Agni are considered to be the deities of Purnima, due to which this garland is put in the fire as a dedication and to complete the rituals. 

Coconut is called Shreefal and it is considered to be the fruit of Goddess Lakshmi.

Coconut is put in the form of fruit in the burning fire of Holika.

In such a situation, coconut is put in the Holikagni on behalf of the whole family. 

Holi falls in the month of Phalgun and by this time the wheat crop grows in the fields.

Due to this, wheat ear is put in the fire of Holika as an offering of food during Holika Dahan.

Tying 5 wheat earrings together and offering them in the fire is considered very auspicious. 

According to custom, rice is sprinkled in the fire of Holika.

Offering rice is seen as removing negative energy from the surroundings and family as well as from within oneself. 

To remove the economic problems of the house and to solve the financial difficulties in life, firewood is put in Holika Dahan.

Batashe is considered dear to Goddess Lakshmi, that is why it is auspicious to offer Batashe in Holika Dahan. 

Panchak is going to be held on Chaitra Navratri, know in which auspicious time the Kalash can be established and for how many days the worship will be done
