During joint patrols with representatives of the TCC and SP (the former name of military committees. - Ed.), the policemen will record the process of serving

summonses

thanks to body cameras .

Lawyer Roman Simutin explained on his YouTube channel how this will affect Ukrainians.

According to him, punishment for refusing to come to the military commissariat will now be easier.

"Many people did not take the news about the use of body cameras during the delivery of summons seriously. They said that there is no regulatory framework, improper use will not be evidence. This is a fatal mistake!" - noted Simutin.

The lawyer gave a real example: "During a joint patrol with the police, a representative of the TCC hands you a summons. You received it, or you refused to receive it, and you did not arrive at the military commissariat at the specified time, believing that you would not prove it and it would pass. But you forgot that everything was recorded by the policeman's body camera," says the lawyer.

He emphasizes that the video from the body camera will definitely be evidence to prove the guilt of the accused.

How will they be punished for not appearing at the military commissariat

"The representative of the TCC will draw up a protocol and attach a video. The Military Committee will issue a resolution on bringing to administrative responsibility for evading military registration with a fine of UAH 3,400," explains Simutin.

According to him, after the repeated delivery of the summons and failure to appear at the military commissariat without valid reasons, a criminal prosecution is opened for evasion of mobilization, where one of the main evidences will be the video.

Earlier it was reported that TCC employees will receive video cameras to record the process of serving summonses for "objective assessments of conflicts."

Scandals during the delivery of summonses

Earlier, a video circulated on the Internet where employees of the Military Commissariat were traveling in Odesa in an ambulance and handing out summonses.

The public was also outraged by another case from Odesa - the brutal detention of a man during the delivery of a summons.

Because of this incident, an official inspection was ordered.

A similar case happened in Dnipro.

A video of three men in military uniform chasing a civilian in the Dnipro reached the Internet.

One of the soldiers is holding some papers in his hand.

In Transcarpathia, the military also forcibly dragged a man along the asphalt.

A conscript from Ternopil, who was served with a summons on the street, died in Donetsk a month after being drafted.

According to relatives of the deceased, the man was thrown to the front line without preparation.

He stayed at the front for 5 days and died.
