According to the prosecutor's office, he transported 57 men - citizens of Afghanistan, who wanted to cross the country in violation of the law - in a van.

The 18-year-old student was in need of financial resources, the state prosecution continued.

He was contacted by a person who offered him to transport migrants from Karnobat to the Bulgarian border with Serbia, for which he would receive BGN 10,000.

By decree of the supervising prosecutor, the young man was detained for a period of up to 72 hours.
