Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic encouraged Kosovo and Serbia to find a common solution to their relations, which would give "a strong boost to the entire region" in the Western Balkans.

"We support the international community's intention to finally reach and sign an agreement.

Of course, we are not the ones to say who should do what, that is the responsibility of both governments (of Kosovo and Serbia), but Montenegro definitely wants to send a message from here in Skopje that we encourage both countries, and the international community to finally reach a common agreement.

What we can change is the future, we cannot change the past.

If we shift the focus from the past and start talking about the future, I think that the region will have very good opportunities to be successful and all the countries of the Western Balkans will be able to be more effective in the process of European integration", Abazovic said.

He participated in the Economic Forum in Skopje.

This is one of the big regional meetings organized by the Economic Forum from Delphi, Greece and the Hellenic Business Association in North Macedonia.

Abazovic stated that he is a supporter of the various regional initiatives because greater mobility of people and "flexible" borders, similar to those in the EU, are important for the Western Balkans.

"Now we have an agreement to cross the border with an ID card.

The next step is crossing the border without an ID card.

If we want to see ourselves in the European family, we have to have European behavior, and they have a free market for trade.

That is why the Montenegrin government supports initiatives such as "Open Balkans", said the Montenegrin Prime Minister, according to whom "Open Balkans" "awakened" the Berlin process.
