Chaitra Navratri Panchak: Panchak is going to be held during Navratri this year.  

Chaitra Navratri:

The Navratri that falls in the month of Chaitra is called Chaitra Navratri.

Nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during the nine days of Navratri.

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the devotees keep a fast of Mata Rani and remain engrossed in worship.

But this year Panchak is being celebrated on Chaitra Navratri.

During Panchak, auspicious works such as marriage, shaving and tilak etc. are prohibited and no auspicious works are performed.

In such a situation, it is necessary to know how Navratri worship will be done and how the urn will be established.

Chaitra Navratri Kalash Sthapana during Panchak 

According to Hindu Panchang, Chaitra Navratri is starting from Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month.

The first day of Chaitra Navratri is 22nd March and from 19th March Panchak is being observed which will end on the next day of Navratri i.e. 23rd March.

However, according to astrology, Chaitra Navratri is a very auspicious and special occasion, due to which Panchak will not have any significant effect on Chaitra Navratri and Chaitra Navratri can be celebrated without any worries. 

Kalash Sthapana can be done only on the first day of Chaitra Navratri i.e. 22 March.

Chaitra Shukla Pratipada Tithi is going to start from 10.52 pm on 21st March and end at 8.20 pm on 22nd March. 

During this, the auspicious time for the establishment of Kalash is being considered from 6.23 am to 7.32 am on March 22.

Apart from this, Kalash can be established in Abhijit Muhurta which is in the afternoon, but this year Abhijeet Muhurta is not being observed on the first day of Chaitra Navratri, due to which it will be very auspicious to establish Kalash in the morning.

It is believed that this year Chaitra Navratri is being celebrated for 10 days.

Chaitra Navratri Navami, which starts from March 22, will continue till March 30.

The next day, on March 31, Chaitra Navratri will be celebrated and Chaitra Navratri will end only after performing the Puja on Dashami.
