"The meeting of MP Ramin Mammadov with residents of Armenian origin living in Azerbaijan should be considered as a direct contact with our potential citizens."

Hikmat Babaoglu, deputy chairman of the Defense, Security and Anti-corruption Committee of the Milli Majlis, member of the Board of the New Azerbaijan Party, said this to APA.

Hikmet Babaoglu said that this is the form of dialogue that Azerbaijan put forward immediately after the Patriotic War, and it is the first step towards the reintegration of our residents, who have lived outside the laws of Azerbaijan for a long time, into our society: "We know that in order to avoid such direct contacts for a long time, both in Armenia and the community Radicals among its residents, as well as some foreign power centers who did not want peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, did their best.

They even prepared a special anti-peace project called Ruben Vardanyan.

But in the end they could not achieve anything.

Azerbaijan's resolute position and strategic diplomacy made all these attempts futile.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, while speaking about a possible peace perspective at the Munich Security Conference, did not rule out the possibility of direct dialogue after Ruben Vardanya's departure from Karabakh.

As a result, it happened.

The oligarch-criminal who was exported to Azerbaijan was removed and the initial result was achieved.

No matter how much Armenian diplomacy, non-governmental institutions, and the Armenian lobby tried to manipulate the legitimate demands of Azerbaijani eco-activists during the past period, and tried to create a false impression of a blockade on the Lachin road, this did not happen."

The deputy noted that Azerbaijan managed to protect its interests and took another step forward for the implementation of sovereign rights in our entire territory: "It can be said briefly about the meeting that the Armenian residents asked for help to solve some communication and supply problems.

This in itself can be considered as the acceptance of Azerbaijan's jurisdiction by the Armenian community.

Azerbaijan, on the other hand, got the opportunity to deal with the problems related to the illegal exploitation of our mining deposits.

At the same time, it was planned to hold such meetings in other areas of Azerbaijan in the future.

This can be considered the first positive step forward in the direction of the reintegration of Armenian residents into our society in the post-war period."
