THE MINISTER OF WATER, Jumaa Aweso has asked the executives not to get used to the problems of the people and to encourage responsibility that will bring productivity to the nation

He said he said this in an emergency meeting of the Ministry's Management and asked them to reorganize and each fulfill their responsibility in handling the challenges of the people in the concept of getting water service.

He said, the Ministry of Water is responsible for implementing the notice of the ruling party for access to water service for 95 percent in the city and 85 percent in the villages by 2025.

"Our government under the leadership of the President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has a sincere determination to remove the water challenge from the people, so every executive in the water sector should be responsible in managing this issue that has a wide interest in our country." Aweso said and added

"Let's give up our habits for the people's problems, we have got a guarantee to serve them, let's serve them professionally."

On his part, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Water, Engineer Nadhifa Kemikimba has reminded the employees to follow the rules, laws and procedures set in providing services and increase relations between executives and citizens in order to find solutions to various challenges.
