The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may begin in mid-April, predicts military observer and ex-adviser of the OP Oleksiy Arestovych.

He said this in a conversation with the Russian oppositionist, lawyer Mark Feigin.

Arestovych is convinced that everything is ready for the spring counteroffensive in Ukraine.

"Everything is fine with the tanks, and with the preparation of the counteroffensive, and with everything else. Everything is fine with us and they know it.

Everything with us is ready according to my feelings. I think we are waiting for the weather

. Mid-April, I think. It is from it depends on the weather. We'll see," said the military observer.

In this context, he drew attention to the plan to liberate Crimea from the ex-commander of the US Army in Europe, Ben Godges:

"If Ben Godges draws plans to go to Crimea... But it's not by chance, he's not just a columnist who can say anything. He always knows what he's saying."

As for supplies of western weapons to Ukraine, they will be delivered in a timely manner, Arestovych is convinced.

It will be recalled that Godges published a map with a plan for the liberation of Crimea.

In his opinion, at first it is possible to do without a large-scale ground operation.

So, the Armed Forces should have struck the military infrastructure of the Russians, in particular, the Black Sea Fleet.

It is also necessary to cut the material and technical support of the peninsula.

According to the GUR of the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian counteroffensive will begin in the spring with the aim of liberating all occupied territories, including Crimea.

On February 28, military expert Ivan Stupak assumed that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces could begin within the next 30-60 days.

Now a lot depends on Ukrainian logistics and the saturation of the rear with people.
