March should demonstrate the record

losses

of the Russian Federation in the war in Ukraine.

Military and political commentator Oleksandr Kovalenko made such a forecast.

"The average daily destruction of the Russian occupiers was indeed a record in February, but the peculiarities of the duration of the month did not allow it to become a record. In my opinion, based on such indicators, March should definitely show a record number of losses of the Russian occupying forces, against the background of a decrease in BBM losses and, perhaps, other types of equipment and weapons," he wrote.

According to him, the losses of equipment of the Russian troops demonstrate both scarcity and relative compensability.

"For example, the losses of tanks and artillery are compensated by supplies to the combat zone in the limit values. That is, exactly as much as the Armed Forces destroys now, the occupying forces can compensate within a month. Although this does not cancel the problems with the availability of ammunition delivered to them," Kovalenko said .

According to him, the process of compensating for losses of medium and light armored vehicles is hampered, in particular, due to "year-long degradation of technical and technological processes in the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, which is unable to meet the needs of the army in conditions of a full-scale war."

We will remind, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, from February 24, 2022 to February 28, 2023, the Armed Forces

destroyed

149,240

soldiers of the army of the Russian Federation.

More were eliminated during the day
