Satellite images of the Belarusian airfield "Machulyshchi" after drone strikes on the Russian A-50U reconnaissance aircraft have been published on the Internet.

The relevant photos from the Maxar satellite were posted by CNN journalist Gianluca Mezzofiore.

According to the journalist, the pictures were taken on February 28.

The photo shows the A-50 anti-aircraft missile of the Russian military and space forces.

It is noticeable that the aircraft has been moved, and its usual parking spot (red arrow) is empty.

The pictures do not show any significant damage to the plane.

It will be recalled that on February 26, explosions rang out at the "Machulyshchi" military airfield in Bylor - the facility was attacked by drones.

The attack could be carried out by local partisans.

As a result of the explosions, the Russian A-50U reconnaissance plane, which coordinated the launch of missiles over Ukraine, was damaged.

The Belarusian opposition reported that the front and center parts of the plane, the avionics and the radar antenna were damaged.

It is noted that these damages are serious and the plane will definitely not fly anywhere.

British intelligence estimates that disabling the aircraft would limit Russia's ability to conduct air operations.
