On Tuesday, February 28, Italian police arrested three people believed to be involved in a fatal shipwreck.

The fourth suspect is currently being sought.

A boat with hundreds of migrants crashed on rocks in the south of the country during a storm on Sunday, February 26.

According to official data, at least 65 people died.

The rescuers said that most of the migrants came from Afghanistan, and there were also citizens of Pakistan, Iran, Somalia and Syria on board.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, which is led by the Taliban, reported that 80 Afghan citizens died in a ship accident.

There are also children among them.

Relatives of the victims arrived in the city of Crotone to find their loved ones. 

Earlier we reported that a truck with 18 dead migrants was found in Bulgaria.

More than half a hundred people were stuffed into the car "like a tin can", they died due to lack of oxygen, the law enforcement officers said.
