As Svaboda learned, political prisoner and journalist of Svaboda Ihar Losik, who was detained on June 25, 2020 and is serving a 15-year sentence in Navapolatka Colony No. 1, will be summoned to appear in person at the Baranovitsky district court on March 3.

The bailiff informs that a debt collection case will be considered there.

In case of non-appearance, they threaten to carry out forced driving with the help of the police, it is reported in the summons.

Part of the property of the Losikov family was seized in order to repay the debt

In addition to the huge terms, those involved in the "Tikhonovsky case" must pay 22 million rubles in compensation - as stated in the court decision, "to pay employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for additional time on duty during the post-election protests."

In mid-July 2022, bailiffs came to Igor's home in Baranavichy.

They showed his wife Daria a document according to which they have the right to seize the property in order to repay Igor's debt to the state.

In July 2022, the property of the Losik family (including the piano, which was given to Daria by her parents when she was a child, household appliances and furniture) was seized.

In order to buy back his state-seized property, Ihar Losik must obtain a permit.

The Brest Enforcement Directorate did not give a positive or negative answer to the political prisoner's statement, and his property had to be put up for auction.

Now Igor is personally summoned to court.

Due to bureaucratic obstacles, Igor's daughter is unlikely to see her father

In March, Igor Losik will have a long-term meeting with his parents.

The political prisoner asks them to bring his 4-year-old daughter Pavlinka to him.

A 4-year-old girl was left without both parents, who are recognized as political prisoners and are serving sentences.

But due to bureaucratic obstacles, Pavlinka is unlikely to see his father.

As lawyers explain, by law, a child can visit one parent in a colony either with his mother or with guardians.

The mother of the girl, Daria Losik, is behind bars, on January 19, 2022, the judge of the Brest Regional Court Mikalai Grigarovich sentenced her to 2 years of imprisonment.

Daria's parents took care of their granddaughter.

They cannot go on a date with their son-in-law, because they are not Igor's close relatives.

And the other grandparents - Igor's parents - cannot take Pavlinka with them to him, because they are not formally guardians of their granddaughter.

As a family friend told, the grandparents take a lot of photos of the girl, print out the photos and send both Daria and Ihar to prison and a colony.

Pavlinka draws pictures for her parents, who are also sent behind bars.

Igor and Daria Losiki each received one letter from each other

After the announcement of Daria Losik's sentence, the spouses were allowed to correspond with each other.

Igor wrote more than 20 letters to his wife from the Navapolat colony.

When Dasha was in the Brest pre-trial detention center, she was not given any of them.

One letter from Igor Dasha was given in Baranavichy.

Igor also received one letter from his wife.

The Supreme Court set the date of consideration of the appeal of Daria Losik's complaint — March 21.
