The operation under the code name "Avtojambazi" was ordered by the chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev.

Police teams and investigators early in the morning raided the residences of over 30 individuals who were operationally suspected of engaging in illegal vehicle seizures.

Computer configurations, as well as specialized hardware and software, which are used to decode the locking and alarm systems of new models of cars are seized. Gendarmerie teams are also in front of several repair shops and car dealerships in the area of ​​Pernik, Dupnitsa and Kyustendil, for which there are information that stolen cars are cut up and then sold for auto parts.
