The tenth package of European sanctions was approved on the occasion of the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and affects 121 individuals and companies, France Press recalls.

"This is all absurd.

One sees that they (the EU) subject everyone to sanctions just to make new lists," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

He added that these measures will not prevent the sanctioned people.

Peskov also said that the plan proposed by China to settle the conflict in Ukraine deserves attention, but the necessary conditions for a peaceful solution are not available at the moment and the Russian special military operation in Ukraine continues.

Peskov also announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko are in constant contact, but the Kremlin does not report on their every contact, TASS reported.

The spokesman also emphasized that Crimea is Russian and its return to Ukraine is impossible, adds the agency, quoted by BTA.
