The Electric Union reports that yesterday the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity from 4:56 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (03:34 a.m.).

The maximum impact at night was 436 MW at 7:00 p.m., coinciding with the peak hour.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,000 MW and the demand is 1,900 MW, with the entire system with service.

Unit 6 of the CTE Mariel, unit 1 of the CTE Santa Cruz and the unit of the CTE Guiteras are out of service due to a breakdown.

Unit 4 of CTE Cienfuegos, unit 1 of CTE Felton and units 4 and 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

According to the UNE note, the limitations on thermal generation (166 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 904 MW are unavailable due to failure and 350 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 20 MW is estimated, and the entry of 256 MW in diesel engines.

With this forecast,

an availability of 2,346 MW and a maximum demand of 2,855 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 509 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 579 MW is forecast during this time.
