It will most likely require more military personnel to be sent to the border.

This was stated by the Acting Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov

Dimitar Stoyanov was born on October 28, 1968 in Svilengrad.

In 1986, he finished in "The Day Begins" on BNT.

The Bulgarian army participates in the protection of our border.

This is another incident involving migrants.

I hope to have a meeting with the Home Secretary this week about additional forces.

As far as I know, about 110 km of the border are not equipped, the caretaker minister also said.

The Bulgarian army fulfills its duties with what it has, but it is not modernized.

The fence along the border was repaired in one year.

In the last year, 3 contracts were concluded for supplying the patrol ships with armament.

Modernization is a long process.

Personnel is much more important.

We have an outflow of military personnel.

It is necessary to think in the direction of increasing salaries, but also providing housing and modernization.

These are very important factors, noted Stoyanov.
