On February 27, the delegation led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament, Ion-Marcel Colacon, visiting Azerbaijan, visited the grave of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Alley of Martyrs.

APA informs that the delegation first came to the Alley of Honor and commemorated Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of our people, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, with deep respect, laid a wreath and laid flowers in front of his grave.

The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Ms. Zarifa Aliyeva was also honored, and flowers were placed on her grave.

Then the Romanian parliamentarians who came to the Alley of Martyrs paid tribute to the heroes of the Motherland who died in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of our country, laid flowers on their graves and laid a wreath in front of the "Eternal Torch" monument.

Guests watching the view of the capital of Azerbaijan from the highest point of Baku were given detailed information about the history of Martyrs' Alley and the improvement and construction works carried out in our city.
