Significant changes can occur

in

Russia only after Putin's heavy defeat in Ukraine.

"Responsible politicians" may refuse to carry out the orders of the Russian dictator, who may be seen as a threat to Russia's stability.

This was stated by the British journalist Catherine Belton, who was a Financial Times correspondent in Moscow for many years.

The journalist claims that she is still in regular contact with representatives of the Russian political and business elite, communicating with them in an encrypted form using Messenger, so she is convinced that the rebellion

against Putin can only arise in the elite, because ordinary Russians are intimidated.

"My informants are now talking about Putin in a way that I have never heard before. The war has destroyed the activities of the elites, their wealth accumulated over decades, their influence. My sources see that Russia has become an outcast in the world, it is isolated. The Russian Federation has become a second North Korea, with more nuclear weapons. The Moscow elite is talking about a possible replacement for Putin, about possible successors," she said.

When asked about Putin's possible successors, Belton mentioned the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation,

 Mykola Patrushev.

Belton believes that although he is currently Putin's closest ally, in the long term

Patrushev wants his son Dmytro to sit in the presidential chair.

In her opinion, Russian elites need "someone more conciliatory towards the West."

"Only a victory in Ukraine can provide Russia with the appropriate status on the international arena," Belton said.

At the same time, the journalist believes that Putin will not give up and will fight until "there is a shadow of a chance to win the war."

Therefore, she emphasized that

the West should support Ukraine with modern weapons, better than what Russia has.

"The defeat of Russia is necessary," she stressed.

Instead, Belton categorically rejected the possibility of a truce, as she is convinced that Putin will never peacefully surrender the territories captured by his troops.

It will be recalled that military expert Mykhailo Samus stated that a fierce struggle is currently underway in the Kremlin between two groups that want to gain complete power.

According to him, Putin has already lost influence in the Kremlin.

According to The Washington Post, representatives of the so-called "elite" in Russia are beginning

to talk about a possible change of leadership.

It is noted that there have not been such decisive conversations in the Russian Federation for more than 20 years, during which the dictator Vladimir Putin has ruled Russia.

In addition, the Russian publication The Insider, referring to a secret document, also stated that

preparations for a possible coup d'état have already begun in Russia

.

It states that "the adversary can use hypnosis and religion against the Federal Security Service."

Russian journalist Yulia Latynina believes that if Putin remains in power after the defeat in the war with Ukraine, it will be

the worst development for the Russian Federation.

Latynina is convinced that Russia will end up like North Korea, because Putin has been imitating Islamic terrorists more and more recently.

Russian opposition politician Ilya Yashin said that removing Putin from outside is unrealistic.
