[Reporter Liao Xueru/Hsinchu Report] A 48-year-old woman surnamed Chen in Hsinchu was a habitual thief and was suspected of stealing sheep. After riding a bicycle parked on the side of the road, she had a whimsy and repainted the original silver body into royal blue in an attempt to avoid Unexpectedly, the police consulted the monitors to investigate, and finally arrested her.

The Zhubei Police Station said that on the 23rd of last month, it received a report from people in the jurisdiction that a child's bicycle was parked on the side of the road and stolen.

The police tracked down the line and consulted the surveillance cameras, and identified the woman surnamed Chen as a habitual thief who committed the crime. Before stealing, Chen wandered near the bicycle for a while, and sat on the side of the road to observe, and finally rode the bicycle away.

The police then went to the female thief's office to investigate and found a bicycle. However, the stolen vehicle had been painted a striking royal blue, which made the police dumbfounded.

The Zhubei Police Sub-bureau called on the public to pay special attention to the safe place to park their bicycles, and remember to lock the big locks when necessary to prevent theft.
