It is emphasized that the earthquake occurred at 13:27 40 kilometers south of the city of Aksaray and 18 kilometers northeast of the city of Emirhazi.

According to seismologists, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the area of ​​the city of Boru at a depth of 7 km.

In turn, in a statement, the head of AFAD, Yunus Sezer, said that at the moment there is no negative situation.

However, scanning studies at the locations of tremors are ongoing.

"After the 5.3-magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Bor district of our Nigde province at 1:27 p.m., there is currently no negative situation. On-site scanning studies are ongoing," he said in a statement.

there is a danger of repeated earthquakes in Turkey.
