When you maliciously intervene in the electoral process, you take a huge risk that the participants in those elections will not recognize them.

We have therefore launched an attack on the decision in court so that we can restore the rules as they should be.

We want the result to be fair for all participants.

This was stated by Antoineta Tsoneva

Antoaneta Tsoneva is a Bulgarian expert on the electoral process and civil participation in "Democratic Bulgaria" on the air of Darik Radio in connection with the complaint filed by the coalition "Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" against the decision of the Central Election Commission of February 20, by which the votes from the machine vote is not counted separately, but is directly summed up in the general protocol with the vote from the paper ballots.

"The proxies of the paper coalition so brutally attacked inside the CEC the way the result will be reported.

This caused great dissatisfaction.

Both in society and in political parties.

The representatives of the paper coalition obviously do not understand how big a problem they are creating by making the election result unreliable and contested," she said.

Regarding the provision of military-technical assistance to Ukraine, Tsoneva stressed that the agreements and deals with Bulgaria should be carefully considered so that the Bulgarian army is modernized as quickly as possible and at a high level.

In the words, huge opportunities are being missed in this regard as well.

"These are very challenging times for the administration itself, because it means modernization of the Bulgarian army at a speed that we could hardly afford at any other time.

The modernization of the army is directly related to our national interest and our national security, and we must be part of the processes that are being created to support Ukraine and its military-technical capabilities," she said.

The former member of parliament pointed to the long time without a government elected by the parliament as the reason for Bulgaria's failure with Schengen and the Eurozone.

According to her, it is very important to form a cabinet elected by the parliament that has clear priorities and that the institutions work according to their order.

The court annulled the CEC's decision on the collective counting of paper and machine votes

"The commitments we are making are related precisely to ensuring that Bulgaria does not lose its direction and the pace with which it has moved towards the heart of Europe.

Because our prosperity, the well-being of people, the level and quality of institutions depends on us being at the core of this union", she added.

"If in the next parliament we manage to pass the necessary laws, we can sit down at the table again and talk about the Eurozone.

The mandate of this European Commission should not be missed.

We cannot afford to close this historic window", said Tsoneva, pointing out that "Vazrazhdane" are holding a referendum on saving the Bulgarian lev without explaining to the public that people and businesses will lose at least 300 million leva from transaction fees fees and that bank interest rates and guarantees in terms of investment capital will be different, and at the same time these people have deposits, leases and mortgages in euros.

Antoineta Tsoneva, a Bulgarian expert on the electoral process and civil participation, described the Magnitsky sanctions as a "big slap" on Bulgaria's reputation.

"Legislative changes have been made that enable one regulator to deprive the budget of 600 million BGN.

This type of management must end", she also said and categorically stated that in the upcoming election campaign the "PP-DB" coalition will very clearly present the measures and decisions that must be taken in order to limit the scale of these practices.
