"Anglo Asian Mining" company of Great Britain (AAM - the operator of gold deposits in Azerbaijan) plans to produce up to 50-54 thousand ounces of non-ferrous metal in Azerbaijan in 2023.

According to information, the company's copper production is forecasted at 4,100-4,300 tons, and gold production at 30-32 thousand ounces.

"2023 is an important year for Anglo-Asia as it begins the transition to achieve significant copper production with the opening of the new Gilar and Zafar mines and the commissioning of increased flotation plant capacity. Copper production is forecast to increase by 63-71 percent. Gold production is will decrease by 26-30%. This is in line with the company's increased focus on copper, taking advantage of the global decarbonization agenda," the mining company said in a statement.

It should be noted that "Anglo-Asian Mining" is engaged in production in Azerbaijan within the framework of the PSA (Production Sharing Agreement) signed on August 21, 1997.
