"On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, around 5:00 a.m., when several police officers and other law enforcement officers were taking him [Medvedev] out of a police car in the yard of the central pretrial detention center, he resisted and kicked one or more officers," the statement said. arrest warrants.

Medvedev's lawyer Brynjulf ​​Risnes said that the fight was caused by a "misunderstanding after drinking alcohol", and when the police arrived, his client allegedly "did not understand what was happening".

The lawyer also referred to the fact that Medvedev is speechless, and it is difficult for him to express his thoughts.

The violator himself pleaded not guilty, he was released before the court.

Medvedev's case will be heard at the Oslo District Court on April 25.

The prosecutor charged him with three criminal articles.
