The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr

Lukashenko,

reacted to information released by analysts that Russia plans to completely absorb Belarus by 2030.

Lukashenko stated that Belarus remains a sovereign and independent state.

This is reported by Belta.

"They just want to cut us down again. That's why this topic arose. There is nothing alive in this. You know my position, it is unchanged: we are an independent sovereign state," Lukashenko said.

Lukashenko also assured that the strategies of Russia and Belarus are different.

"Do we have our own strategy? Yes. Does Russia have its own strategy? Yes. And Russia, in particular, has its own strategy in relation to Belarus - to live, as with its brothers, in peace and friendship. 100%. I am completely boiling in this "cauldron" and I take part in it," Lukashenko summarized.

Oleksandr Lukashenko also stated that he does not believe that

Ukraine can stage a "provocation" in Transnistria.

We will remind, in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War, analysts reported that

Russia can occupy Belarus until 2030.

They warned that NATO should seriously prepare for a possible scenario in which Russia fully controls Belarus.
