Tomorrow, February 26, in the Orthodox calendar

is the day of memory of St. Martinian of Caesarea

.

He began to lead a hermit life early.

He went to live in the desert for a while, where he prayed to the Lord a lot.

For this I received the gift of healing from him.

When he returned from the desert, he was met in the city by a lecherous girl who offered Martinian her body.

However, the monk remained steadfast in his faith and did not fall into sin.

Then the girl repented and asked to help her find God.

The saint directed her to the temple.

Martinian is often called the defender of family loyalty and the intercessor of those who choose to live without sin.
