The 3rd perceptible earthquake of the year in Cuba was registered at 08:20 pm local time

, reports the Venceremos newspaper on its Facebook page.

Located at the coordinates 19.75 degrees north latitude and 75.12 degrees west longitude, at a depth of 10 km and with a magnitude of 3.5;

its epicenter was located 33 kilometers southeast of the town of Caimanera, Guantánamo province.

So far, reports of perceptibility have been received from various locations in the province of Guantanamo.

At the closing of the information, no material or human damages were reported.

This is the third of the year but the first with an epicenter in the national territory, the previous ones were on February 8 with an epicenter in northern Honduras (5.5 mag) and on February 16 with an epicenter in northwest Haiti (5.5 mag).
