The head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense,

, declares that the closest entourage of the president-dictator of Russia, Vladimir Putin, cooperates with Ukrainian intelligence. 

The chief military intelligence officer said this in an interview with "Ukrainian Pravda".

Budanov did not name either the names or the number of GUR agents in the "Fuhrer's" entourage.

According to him, people who go for cooperation think about their existence in the future.

"Since the situation in the Russian Federation is actually getting worse every day, it's getting easier every day to find people willing to cooperate," says the head of the GUR.

Are there any guarantees that the agents are not deceiving the Ukrainian side, Budanov says: "Well, this is very easily verified. We believe not words, but only facts. If a person says that it will rain tomorrow, but it has not rained. But he says : "I was wrong, but the day after tomorrow will definitely be." And the day after tomorrow he didn't go either. Maybe he was wrong, but in that case, will there be trust in such a person? No, there won't be. This is an allegorical answer to your question."
