Almost a year after the start of Russia's war in Ukraine, Europeans' sympathy for Ukrainians has not weakened, according to data from a Eurobarometer survey presented today by the European Commission.

The survey shows that European citizens are most worried about rising prices (32 percent, down two percent), the international situation (28 percent), energy supplies (26 percent, down two percent).

Less than half of Europeans (47 percent) trust the EU, and only one in three (32 percent) trust their national government.
Less than half (45 percent) of Europeans have a positive view of the EU, 36 percent - neutral, and 18 percent - negative.
