Another 339 cases were imported from abroad.

In response to a doctor's estimate that the number of cases may fall below 10,000 next Monday, Luo Yijun, a spokesman for the command center, pointed out that it is indeed possible, but it remains to be seen.

There were 204 new moderate and severe cases, including 138 moderate cases and 66 severe cases.

64 new local cases died, including 42 males and 22 females, aged between 40s and over 90s, all of them were severe infections, 60 cases had a history of chronic diseases, and 40 cases had not been vaccinated for more than 3 doses of COVID-19 19 vaccines.

The date of diagnosis was from September 15 last year to February 19 this year, and the date of death was from September 25 to February 19 last year.

Among the 339 new imported cases, 148 were males and 191 were females, ranging in age from under 5 to over 80 years old.

The entry date is between January 22 and February 21 this year.

Psychiatrist Shen Zhengnan said that the number of new cases continued to decline. Although the number of cases did not fall below 10,000 yesterday, there is still a chance next Monday.

It must fall below 10,000 cases next Monday, otherwise the epidemic situation has changed.

In this regard, Luo Yijun pointed out that judging from the recent decline in the number of local cases in the past week compared with the previous week, if the trend remains unchanged, and the next 228 consecutive holidays, there may be delays in the notification of confirmed diagnoses, so next week A drop to between 9,500 and 10,000 cases is indeed possible, but the actual change remains to be seen.
