Kateryna Osadcha

together with the founder of the charity foundation "Tvoya opora" Valeriya Tatarchuk came to Ivano-Frankivsk region, where the Tselukhin family-type orphanage was evacuated.

Their house in Rubizhnoy, Luhansk Oblast, burned down due to shelling, and the father of the family also died at the same time.

There was no place to go to a family-type home, where 10 orphans were being raised.

So in autumn, on her birthday, Kateryna Osadcha together with "Tvoya Opora" announced a collection of 3.2 million hryvnias for a new home for children.

Thanks to caring Ukrainians and donors from abroad, the collection was closed in less than a month.

It took some time to find a suitable house, and now the family has finally moved and is settling in a new place.

To see how the family lives today, TV presenter Kateryna Osadcha came together with the founder of the charity foundation "Tvoya Opora" Valeriya Tatarchuk.

"Donors from abroad sometimes ask: 'You have a war, and you buy houses?' very soon. That's why we buy houses. That's why we know that this house will stand for another two hundred years. And more than one generation of Tselukhins will grow up here," said Kateryna Osadcha.

Inspired by the arrival, the children gave a tour to the star guests, showed their rooms and admitted that they like the new home very much.

"I really like this house. Each of us has a bed, a closet, where we put our things, toys, books. This was not the case in the previous apartment," shared 7-year-old Mariyka.

We will remind you that before Kateryna Osadcha and "Tvoya Opora" initiated the collection, the family lived in an apartment with an area of 44 square meters, but the biggest problem was that the apartment had no heating.

So it was impossible to winter there.

Tselukhins became the first family-type house that was helped with housing within the framework of the "Home for Children" project, initiated by Kateryna Osadcha and the "Tvoya Opora" foundation.

The project is being continued and a new collection will be announced soon, as about three hundred family-type orphanages were left without a home in Ukraine due to a full-scale invasion.
