In order for the Armed Forces to go on a counteroffensive, no external incentives are needed.

It is restrained only by the still insufficient amount of weapons and military equipment from Western partners.

This opinion was expressed by military observer Oleksiy Arestovich in a conversation with Russian blogger and human rights defender Mark Feigin.

"We don't need to be pushed, we [the ZSU] rush into the counteroffensive ourselves.

All this "adjustment" rests on only one thing - when there will be weapons and equipment, and when new units at the level of brigades will be equipped.

When it is ready, we will launch a counteroffensive," the expert believes.

According to him, even the weather is of secondary importance in this situation.

However, according to his forecast, the Ukrainian offensive will begin in the second half of spring.

We will remind, the Western press reports that the White House urges Ukraine not to delay the counteroffensive in order to consolidate its successes on the battlefield.
