[Central News Agency] Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, told Russia's National Security Council Secretary General Patrushev today that Sino-Russian relations are "rock-solid" and can withstand any test in international changes.

Patrushev said that China is the top priority of Russia's foreign policy, and the two countries should unite against the West.

The two countries' "no-go zone" partnership is under scrutiny as the United States worries Beijing may consider supplying Russian weapons ahead of the first anniversary of Russia's all-out invasion of Ukraine.

Russian state television reported that Wang Yi said he looked forward to discussing security issues when meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin's aide Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow tonight.

Russia's National Security Council (Security Council) is a powerful organization.

Wang Yi told Patrushev: "Sino-Russian relations are mature: rock-solid, able to withstand any test in international changes."

Wang Yi said Russia and China should formulate new joint measures to ensure the security of both sides, without elaborating.

According to the Russian news agency (RIA), Patrushev told Wang Yi: "In the context of the West's collective efforts to contain Russia and China, it is especially important to further deepen Russia-China cooperation and interaction on the international stage."

"I wish to reiterate our continued support for Beijing on Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong."

The United States considers Russia and China to be the two biggest threats to its security. China is its long-term biggest "strategic competitor," while Russia is an "acute threat."

Wang Yi is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov tomorrow.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said he does not rule out the possibility of Wang Yi meeting Putin because there is "a lot to talk about".
